Kathy, Skye & I camped with the trailer at the Clearwater Crossing for a week that included the 4th of July. During that time we hiked into Surveyor Lake and up the West Fork to the bridge and swimming hole. I also did a couple solo hikes up Straight Creek. We had great weather and it actually wasn't that busy being the 4th. My Achilles did well enough that I hiked a total of 17 miles while we were there with my longest hike being 6 miles; though I needed to give it a soak in the "very" cold creeks every now and then.
