On Sunday, May 24th, Skye and I headed up the Coeur d'Alene River Road to Graham Creek. My Achilles has gotten well enough to start taking some easier hikes. I have been up Graham Creek before and the trail is an easy family friendly trail that wanders along the creek. The trail was good until we got about 3/4 of the way to the Graham Ridge/Coal Creek intersection at the 2 mile mark. There is a large amount of windfall that fortunately had been worked on and the trail cleared. Otherwise we would have had to turn around there. While we were in that area a random tree across the creek fell; definitely made me nervous. We had a good outing and my achilles survived.
