Weekly Report: October 5 - October 11: Bonanza Lakes & Upper Lost Creek Tarns

On Monday, October 5th, I headed up Cedar Creek outside of Superior to Cascade Pass in search for some more fall colors. I hiked the state line trail over to the high point above the Upper Bonanza Lake. I then hiked down a primitive ridge trail into the head of Lost Creek to check out several small lakes/tarns nestled just under the state line that I had never been to. On the way out I dropped into the Upper Bonanza Lake from that primitive ridge trail I used earlier and then went out the usual Bonanza Gulch trail to the state line trail and back to the pass.
