Weekly Report: September 21 - September 27: Mary Lake Overnighter

Skye & I headed up to Mary Lake below Ward Peakon Thursday, September 24, for a quick overnighter. This is the 2nd time I've been to the lake this year, but the purpose on this trip was to spend the night and see what kind of a sunrise we would get. Usually this lake is a bugfest, but they are all gone except for a few moths. I got a few good pictures. I was hoping for some good sun on the lake but clouds moved in from Friday's system. Was hoping to see some game around the lake but nothing, did hear an elk bugle in the morning. Fall is a good time to hit some of the small out of the way lakes.
